Last updated

2translate.org is currently a landing page, a set of articles and a waitlist. It's short, so this policy is too.

What we collect

  • The only personal information we collect is what you enter in the waitlist form. There are no accounts or file uploads yet.
  • No tracking cookies and no analytics or advertising scripts are used.
  • Like any website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we store:

  • your name and email address;
  • your message, if you choose to write one;
  • your approximate country, as reported by Cloudflare from your connection;
  • your browser's user agent (the string that identifies your browser and operating system).

We use this solely to let you know when 2Translate launches. It's stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone. Signing up again with the same email address updates your existing entry rather than creating a new one.

To have your entry deleted, reply to any email we send you and ask; we'll remove it.

Third parties

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers. No other third-party resources are loaded.

When the product launches

File translation means processing files you upload. Before that feature goes live, this page will be updated to explain exactly how uploads are handled, which processors are involved and how long files are kept.
